Dr. Rose M. Ylimaki is the Del and Jewell Lewis Endowed Chair in the Department of Educational Leadership in the College of Education at Northern Arizona University. Dr. Ylimaki studies education, leadership and school development in Arizona as part of national and international networks.

Mission
To collaborate with interdisciplinary scholars and other partners to foster leadership for democratic education within and between levels: classrooms, schools, districts, Arizona state department leaders, national, transnational organizations.
Vision
To coordinate and enhance efforts to research, prepare, and develop leadership for democratic, equitable education for increasingly culturally diverse students in Arizona and beyond.
